Verdict

Although not getting any younger DESERT ACE remains a useful performer at this sort of level and despite having three of these in arrears when fifth at Thirsk last time out he gets 2lb back making him a dangerously well handicapped individual and the selection here. Gleniffer ran well in his final start last term and the lightly-raced four-year-old rates an obvious danger here with speedy The Defiant the sort to soon make all over this trip.
