Verdict

The feature race of the day, STAR SHIELD has shown an aptitude for this course in the past and is well-fancied to return to winning ways in this. He took a step back in the right direction with a pleasing effort last time out and is now back around a mark which saw him place in some tougher contests at this venue last term. Rousayan also perked back up to his level with a good defeat last time and with his trainer in good form, would be dangerous to ignore, while the likes of Hesslewood and Al Erayg showed good aptitude which would set them in good stead for this level last time. Dawaaleeb also cannot be ignored given his strong record when running off of an absence.
  1. Star Shield
  2. Rousayan
  3. Hesslewood
