Verdict

STILL ALIVE for trainer Andrew McNamara can land the spoils to gain his third win over hurdles in his 27 start over timber. The 10-year-old is a C&D winner and produced another decent effort over the combination in December at the Christmas festival. The Charles Byrnes-trained Imperial Choice can continue her development here following a solid effort at Tramore in August. Shannon Fields in the colours of owner J P McManus can battle for the minor honours with the Padraig Roche-trained seven-year-old Alice Johnston and Luis Van Zandt on debut for trainer Gavin Cromwell.
