Verdict

Not a particularly strong event and it could well be that it’s a case of experience counting here with ALPINE SPRINGS able to improve on her fourth at Newcastle 17 days ago in a race that produce what looks to be the strongest piece of form on offer. The step up to 7f will help this daughter of Anjaal with the second from that race (High Peak) having won next time out to give the form some credence. Baby Sham is showing steady race-to-race progress and looks ready for this 7f and provides one of the dangers. The other is likely to come from newcomer Gallardise from a yard well known for their 2yo’s particularly on debut although they have had one or two disappointments this year.
  1. Alpine Springs
  2. Gallardise
  3. Baby Sham
