Verdict

A relatively competitive second division of the staying handicap and in terms of depth a far stronger contest than the previous division. Course winner Mr Fox may well have needed his run last week and enters the argument although his stable could be in better form. Golden Grenade for all his lack of form warrants a check in the market given his connections. The maiden mares Hidden Pearl and Sinndarella should appreciate this test and both are of interest if ready to roll. LAUBERHORN ROCKET wasn’t seen to best effect last time at Wolverhampton and this test will suit him better with the first-time tongue-tie retained; he’s competitive off this mark.
  1. Lauberhorn Rocket
  2. Mr Fox
  3. Hidden Pearl
