Verdict

It's hard to know how many of these have trained on having been fair juveniles last term. Handicap debutant MERAAS is having only his third start and won nicely at Kempton last time. From a powerful yard, he is preferred to stable companion Makyon and might just have the edge on his rivals. Troubador did very well last year and finished with an excellent second in hot Listed company at Redcar. He'll be better for a racent pipe-opener, as too will southern raider Corvair. Romero may fulfil some of the promsie of early last term and looks the type to keep on the right side this campaign.
  1. Meraas
  2. Troubador
  3. Romero
