Verdict

A lot of the main players in this have their quirks and even in this low-grade affair those are going to need to be kept in check. Valkenburg is closely matched with Celtic Classic on their running last time over 1m5f at Lingfield although this trio should suit the former far better and he is nicely weighted on his best form. Doubly Clever is another who is well handicapped but his Wolverhampton effort failed to impress. DEVIZES has less blots on his copybook than many here and his last two runs, especially his C&D second late last year, if repeated give him a very sound chance, he looks more straightforward than most. Red Secret could get involved in a change of headgear.
  1. Devizes
  2. Valkenburg
  3. Red Secret
