Perotto ran a decent third at Newbury on Friday evening behind two likely-looking newcomers from the Johnston and Hannon yards and is interesting if taking the chance to build on that but, in all probability, the same two trainers might be holding the aces again with their respective newcomers DARK COMPANY and Fountain Cross. Franny Norton's mount is bred to be speedy and looks to have found an excellent opening at a track where his trainer commands a deal of respect.
