Verdict

John Gosden sets a poser saddling the once raced winner CRESSIDA and the 600,000 guineas newcomer Spiritus Sanctus. Jockey bookings suggest the Kempton winner, who was green when scoring on her debut, is preferred. Althiqa has been off since winning her only start over 5f at Thirsk in May last year. She has obviously had her issues and steps up in trip but a bold show is very much on the cards. Emma Cappelen has quite a bit to find on the evidence of her quiet run on debut at Carlisle last year.
