Verdict

Pop Dancer was a capable juvenile for Richard Fahey, but moved on to Tony Carroll for 62,000gns at the Newmarket Autumn Sale. Reverting to 5f, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this pacy individual could reverse recent Lingfield form with Caspian Queen. However, a confident selection is the Andrew Balding-trained Brighton maiden winner SPANISH ANGEL. While initially the bare form of that race appeared nothing special, time has shown the runner-up (Newyorkstateofmind) to be a fair AW handicapper, and the in-form Kingsclere handler should possess a detailed understanding as to the latent ability of his charge (through his stablemate Never Dark).
  1. Spanish Angel
  2. Pop Dancer
  3. Caspian Queen
