Verdict

A fascinating three-year-old handicap which promises to be a strong and reliable source of future winners. The vast majority of those declared have shown degrees of promise with many appealing as thoroughly likeable individuals. Richard Hannon's NUGGET was a lightly-raced, yet streetwise juvenile and he's fancied to continue to improve now heading off down the handicapping route, while Fruition (William Haggas), Campari (Roger Charlton) and Diyari (John Gosden) are others to have fixed on the radar. However, it is David Simcock's CARLOS FELIX who receives the vote; he caught the eye when finishing fourth to Count Of Amazonia at Newcastle last October.
  1. Carlos Felix
  2. Nugget
  3. Campari
