Verdict

BRANSTON LION looks to have the right credentials to get off the mark first time up. The colt is related to plenty of winners including on the AW and his trainer is already among the winners: His draw should be an advantage too. Although not having much chance with the impressive winner Hot Scoop showed he had a reasonable amount of ability when finishing runner-up on his only start despite problems at the start. Given a better start, he should go well. While Imperial Fora did not show too much on his debut recently, he should have learned from that experience and it is encouraging he is turned out again so quickly.
