Verdict

Those that have run so far set a reasonable but hardly outstanding level of form with Will Sommers the best of those that have had an outing his Ayr fifth suggesting that he can make further progress based on that 2yo start now he’s stepped up to this trip. Perhaps the most interest lies with newcomers Roberto Escobarr and FIESTA DE VEGA. The first-named has an appealing pedigree but the form of the Andrew Balding yard tip the scales of selection in favour of the latter who also has a tempting pedigree. The fact that expensive yearling Pattaya has been kept in training and now makes her debut as a 4yo suggests that she has ability and any market strength should be noted.
  1. Fiesta De Vega
  2. Roberto Escobarr
  3. Will Sommers
