Merchant Of Venice another course winner will have to cope with shorter trip than he’s tried for a while but if he’s granted a strong gallop he looks the main danger. The lightly-raced Modakhar returns from wind surgery having run one of his best races when last seen out over 1m here with his stable in decent form. Wild Hope a consistent sort and Tadleel making his stable debut are two others who could get involved.
