Verdict

Formerly with Hugo Palmer, Arbalet is a fascinating new recruit (cost 90,000gns) for the very shrewd David O'Meara, so it would come as no real surprise if this five-year-old were to prove very strong in the market exchanges. However, the most progressive (and also lightly raced) horse in this Class 3 handicap is Roger Teal's BEAR FORCE ONE. He competes from a career high handicap mark (93), but could feasibly yet be Royal Ascot bound were he to make a successful winning seasonal reappearance. Others worthy of a positive mention include the Meydan scorer Cliffs of Capri and the often highly-tried Kimifive.
  1. Bear Force One
  2. Arbalet
  3. Kimifive
