Verdict

CHIEF OF POLICE is a very tentative selection in a race where finding any stand out winner is difficult. The six-year-old showed some recent improvement over hurdles and while he was not foot perfect on his chase debut he should progress and could be the one to beat. One with a chance on his chase debut is Ellipsism. The gelding won twice over hurdles seemingly perked up by the application of different first-time headgear each time. Perhaps a first run over fences will similarly spark him.
  1. Chief Of Police
  2. Ellipsism
  3. Carnet De Stage
