Verdict

The trainer and jockey combination of Willie Mullins and Paul Townend can pick up where they left off at the Cheltenham festival in landing the opener with BLACKBOW. The seven-year-old can get off the mark over hurdles at the fourth time of asking for connections at the expense of the Jessica Harrington-trained Lynwood Gold who caught the eye when running Port Stanley to ½L at Naas over a similar last month. The Priests Leap produced a solid effort on hurdling debut over C&D last month running Jungle Junction to 1¼L in a 21-runner maiden on heavy ground and look capable of hitting the frame in this contest.
  1. Blackbow
  2. Lynwood Gold
  3. The Priests Leap
