Verdict

Trainer Nicky Henderson's only runner of the day on the eve of the Cheltenham festival, STAITHES can win on rules debut for the Seven Barrows handler and owners Cheveley Park Stud. The five-year-old should have too much for his nearest rivals who are expected to be a couple of runners for the Olly Murphy stable in the Shirocco gelding African Dance and Grandads Cottage in the colours of John Hales. Grumpy Charlie on his second start for trainer David Pipe and the Stuart Kittow-trained Tibbie Dunbar are others to consider.
  1. Staithes
  2. African Dance
  3. Grandads Cottage
