Forecasts

The Composeur (6/4), Eclair On Line (4/1), Too Many Chiefs (9/2), Mamoo (7/1), Sweet Vinetta (8/1), Georgian Firebird (16/1), Border Victor (22/1), Bulls Head (25/1), Katy Royal (66/1)

Verdict

TOO MANY CHIEFS has won over C&D in the past and handles the expected conditions. He showed signs of a return to form when fourth at Carlisle last week and is potentially well handicapped if back to close to his best. The Composeur could easily be better than his current mark having won with something in hand on his first try at this trip at Huntingdon last time. He looks a big danger if he handles the much softer ground. Mamoo has run well here of late and is likely to give another good account of himself on this sharper circuit, while Sweet Vinetta may come out best of the rest in a race where stamina will be very much at a premium.
  1. Too Many Chiefs
  2. The Composeur
  3. Mamoo
