Verdict

All of these have questions to answer for one reason or another but RING THE MOON showed improvement on his handicap debut last time out and looks to be the safest option in race full of inconsistent types. The drop in trip shouldn't be too much of a problem for the selection in this modest company. Demopholis is well handicapped and, with the champion jockey in the plate, merits consideration as a serious alternative; Cornelius Socks is just out of the weights but is another who doesn't have much to find for him to make the frame in a weak race.
  1. Ring The Moon
  2. Demopolis
  3. Cornelius Socks
