Verdict

The Noel Meade-trained SHEISDIESEL won a similar contest over C&D in March last year off a 5lb lower mark beating 10 rivals 1¼L. The six-year-old has continued to run in a solid and consistent fashion and can win for the third time over C&D at the expense of the Charles O'Brien-trained, C&D winner Nimitz and the Joseph O'Brien-trained King's Vow with the yard boasting six winners in the first week of the year at this venue since 2017 together with a 42% win and place strike rate. It would not surprise to see the Mick Halford-trained Miss Snossyboots bounce back to form at a big price.
  1. Sheisdiesel
  2. Nimitz
  3. King's Vow
