Verdict

This may well not be as much as a test of stamina that the trip suggests and that certainly won’t suit Lammturner who needs a real endurance examination and a return to Sedgefield will be the time to catch her. Our Uncle Pat has some fair chasing form to his name at this level but does appear a rather luckless sort who meets one on the up in staying tests in Timely Gift. His Plumpton win was made to look better by the win of the second over fences subsequently and he’s sure to go close again. The well handicapped MAMOO is narrowly preferred he looks to be building up to something for his shrewd yard who can never be ignored if the market signals are positive.
  1. Mamoo
  2. Timely Gift
  3. Our Uncle Pat
