Verdict

If he runs to the level he did on both starts in bumpers last season when finding the likes of Envoi Allen and Abacadabras too strong, then PORT STANLEY should have no problems getting off the mark at the third attempt as he starts his 2019/20 campaign. If for some reason he ran below expectations, then Biko could pick up the pieces after posting a promising rules debut effort at Punchestown at the end of last season. The son of Winged Love comfortably holds the best chance of the three Gordon Elliot runners on form. Appreciate It was a €60,000 point-to-point recruit and should also be involved given the impressive form of his trainer/jockey at the moment.
