Verdict

I'D BETTER GO NOW was staying on really strongly last time in his success at Wincanton so this step up in trip is likely to suit him so take the gelding to add to his recent victory here off this 7lb higher mark. Sandy Boy has been running consistently well all year and is unlikely to be far away on his return to this trip, while Pontresina has been going close to success recently but may have to settle for finishing in the frame again.
