Verdict

Traditionally a strong bumper four-year-olds have won the last four runnings with a penalty last carried successfully in 2015 although few have tried to carry the extra impost. The two Paul Nicholls newcomers are of particular interest and neither came cheap having both won Irish point-to-points on their debuts. It may well be that Bravemansgame who clocked a very quick time when winning his point-to-point is the pick over Skatman, the market will guide. Nick Gifford is in fine form with his bumper newcomers and his El Tornado has to be noted along with Soaring Glory and Lord Apparelli. KID COMMANDO was very impressive on debut and despite the penalty should prove a tough nut to crack.
  1. Kid Commando
  2. El Tornado
  3. Bravemansgame
