Verdict

Despite a negative draw and a 118-day break from the track, SECRET WIZARD can run a big race for connections. The Sheila Lavery-trained six-year-old won here in March in a 1m handicap and can see off the attentions of C&D winner Carried who ran well in defeat in a similar contest last month and interesting recruit from the Sir Mark Prescott yard, Alabaster on debut for trainer Denis Hogan. Course winner, Tennessee Wildcat should not be underestimated.
