Verdict

SHAUGHNESSY has shown lots of encouraging signs on the track so far and he is likely to improve now he is going chasing. Take the bumper winner to break his maiden over fences at the first attempt. De Forgotten One was a winner at Stratford last time out and although he has gone up 5lb for that close success, he should once again be in the mix, while Fortescue is also looking to add to his victory at Southwell but may have to settle for finishing in the frame this time around.
