Verdict

A trappy finale. Global Tour has enjoyed a profitable time since the summer for Fergal O'Brien, but having been a beaten 5-4f from this elevated mark at Ludlow last month the default position is surely to seek to oppose. However, without an immediately obvious candidate running in your favour the safer approach could be to simply sit this race out altogether. Nevertheless in the interests of sport, small stakes are thrust in the direction of the four-year-old filly DARIYA. A winner at Worcester in August, her connections will no doubt be rueful of a near miss at Southwell latest (for which she has earned a rather unjust 5lb rise).
  1. Dariya
  2. Purple King
  3. Global Tour
