Forecasts

Ain't My Fault (15/8), King's Wharf (9/2), Charlie Snow Angel (5/1), Ted Veale (11/2), Effet Special (10/1), Halcyon Days (11/1), Las Tunas (12/1), Ubaltique (22/1)

Verdict

A fair few of these come attached with quirks and it’s the sort of race where we could see some fun and games. Halcyon Days would be one of the straightforward types in the race and he may well be better now that he’s had a break but he does have to defy the handicapper once again. King’s Wharf is well handicapped on his old form but there’s no guarantee he can reproduce his last effort on ground this testing while Effet Special only ran on through beaten horses last time. With Ain’t My Fault a non-runner at Hexham yesterday due to the heavy going there must be a doubt about him running here and LAS TUNAS is taken to pick up the winning thread under a less aggressive ride this time.
  1. Las Tunas
  2. Ain't My Fault
  3. Halcyon Days
