Verdict

The Ado McGuinness-trained, POCOTALIGO can get back to winning ways her benefiting from a big step up in trip. The Helmet gelding got off the mark at the eighth time of asking in a claimer over 7f on stable debut before another bold bid on handicap debut late last month. The three-year-old can hold off the attentions of the top weight, Easter Orchid for trainer Joseph O'Brien and the Dermot Weld representative Taliyna who was fourth of 14 beaten over 7L in a Curragh maiden on soft ground behind the highly thought of Patrick Sarsfield last month. C&D winner Tartlette is worthy of consideration while, Lighthouse Lady and Never Rains are better than their last runs suggest.
  1. Pocotaligo
  2. Easter Orchid
  3. Taliyna
