Verdict

The Johnny Murtagh-trained SO SUAVE can build on a pleasing debut at Navan early last month to land the spoils here. The colt by Make Believe finished second of 21 beaten a neck behind Flaming Moon over 5½f and can progress in this contest at the expense of the likes of, last time out beaten favourite, Gold Brocade and Cardinal Rule who finished 2½L adrift of the impressive Thames River over 1m at this track last month. Joven from the Thomas Mullins yard should not be taken lightly given his promising runs at Leopardstown and Naas recently.
  1. So Suave
  2. Cardinal Rule
  3. Joven
