Vandella (11/8), Great Suspense (13/8), Tomshalfbrother (9/2), Maqboola (12/1), Oh So Nice (28/1), Auntie June (100/1), Del's Edge (100/1)

Verdict

Vandella has clear hopes based on her first two runs which would leave her on the face of it as a clear choice. The two concerns are that her first run for this yard was rated well below that level and the trip again is on the sharp side. In contrast the drop in distance could be the making of MAQBOOLA who improved significantly first to second start. Tomshalfbrother showed enough last year to win a race of this nature but does have a huge absence to overcome.
