Verdict

WAKE UP EARLY for owner J P McManus can add to his win over C&D last month by landing the spoils in this handicap despite a 8lb higher mark. The Doyen gelding traveled well on his most recent start before keeping on well under pressure to lead near the finish. Duhallow Paddy, beaten favourite on his last couple of starts over fences and top weight, Island Master can prove to be the biggest dangers. Our Bonus, if jumping fluently and the Tom Coyle-trained, Glacial Shadow should not be taken lightly.
