Forecasts

Arabist (9/4), Pirate King (11/4), All Yours (5/1), Al Kout (7/1), Singing Sheriff (15/2), Fearless Warrior (11/1), City Tour (11/1), C'Est No Mour (12/1), El Borracho (14/1), Sophosc (20/1), Fairy Tale (20/1), My Boy Sepoy (25/1), Maquisard (66/1), Bear Valley (66/1)

Verdict

Both All Yours (3lb) and Singing Sheriff (4lb) have weights rises to overcome, so it's possible that the fast-finishing C'Est No Mour can reverse recent C&D form with the latter. Similarly, City Tour was spotted finishing off strongly when runner-up to State Of Affair on his first attempt beyond 1m2f, and could ultimately turn out to be a fair buy from Mark Johnston for £30,000. However, the standout horse from a potential aspect is the John Gosden-trained three-year-old ARABIST. A work in progress, he broke the maiden on soft ground at Haydock last month beating stablemate Swift Wing by 1L and goes handicapping from a very fair opening mark (81).
  1. Arabist
  2. C'Est No Mour
  3. City Tour
