Verdict

Moderate fayre, where trainer Johnny Farrelly could hold the key. His Chance It won nicely last time and in a weak race he has to be seriously considered for the follow-up from 7lb higher, but it could be worth chancing stablemate DAWN TROUPER on his handicap debut. This trip should suit him, while he can be given a squeak from this mark on a relatively recent piece of form. Don Juan Du Gouet is another last-time winner with claims again, while No Cruise Yet and Thomas Blossom are also of interest.
  1. Dawn Trouper
  2. Chance It
  3. Thomas Blossom
