Verdict

A handicap where many rivals look closely matched, preference is for KHUZAAM, who showed enough promise last time out behind an impressive winner at Yarmouth to suggest that the wind surgery has the desired effect and is expected to come on for that effort. He looks relatively unexposed at this level as does De Vegas Kid, who has endured a meteoric guide up the handicap ranks last season and this year but has to step up to another with his 5lb rise, while Trolius has been coming back to himself since an unsuccessful winter stint in Dubai and could run on for the places with Lawmaking, who may just be slightly in the grip of the handicapper.
  1. Khuzaam
  2. Trolius
  3. De Vegas Kid
