Verdict

POT OF PAINT ran well in a valuable maiden at York on debut and, given the way that form is working out, he makes plenty of appeal in a race where a lot of guesswork is involved as several potentially decent types are set to make their respective debuts. The well-bred Perfect Arch looks the part on paper and is respected accordingly, while stablemates Miraz and Wild Thunder are also worth checks in the betting. Glenties was an eye-catcher on debut and edges out stable companion My Girl Maggie to complete the shortlist.
