Verdict

The proven ability to handle this surface is always an advantage and Jump The Gun via his C&D win last time certainly has nothing to find on that score but he started slowly on occasions and the worry is that trait will resurface against some useful types. Both Challet and Seven Emirates have shown enough promise to be considered threats along with the newcomer Warne’s Army from the Johnston yard that are always to be respected with the 2yo newcomers. ANIMAL INSTINCT made the most promising debut at Chelmsford though in a strong looking contest and he’s taken to build on that promise despite the change in surface.
  1. Animal Instinct
  2. Seven Emirates
  3. Challet
