Verdict

Tim Easterby clearly likes to win this having taken it in 2016/2018 and last year’s winner Multellie returns in a bid to score consecutive victories having taken the same path as last year to this year’s event. He should go well under a 4lb penalty and Easterby also runs another C&D winner in Appointed along with Super Kid who on a going day is good enough at this level. That trio have decent chances but they do face some decent three-year-olds headed by the Windsor scorer TAMMOOZ who still looks to be improving. Ritchie Valens and Teodora De Vega give the classic generation a good chance of landing this event which they have failed to do before.
