Verdict

Not a bad race of its type for the time of year, and the vote goes to MAGIC J on the basis of an impressive debut win last autumn which has proven to be very strong form. He shaped well enough on his return here, and gives the impression he will be much better suited by 6f than 1m. Ejtilaab is bred to be a decent sprinter, and made a winning debut at Doncaster, looking sure to progress, and he is feared most, although newcomers Moment of Silence and Brushwork need a market check.
