Forecasts

Royal Context (11/8), Brenner Pass (11/2), Convene (6/1), Bavardages (9/1), Thunderdome (12/1), Sheung Wan (14/1), Sunset Breeze (16/1), Diamonds And Rust (18/1), Alex Gracie (22/1), Brass Clankers (25/1), Pull Harder Con (25/1), Pearl Of India (50/1), American Dreamer (66/1), Queen Of Rock (100/1)

Verdict

A wide open nursery where something could easily improve out of recognition for a first look at Fibresand. Top of that list could be Pull Harder Con, but he's not really shown enough as yet, and preference is for ROYAL CONTEXT, who already has Fibresand experience after a good debut effort here. The extra furlong can only be in his favour and he looks the one to beat. Sheung Wan was too green on debut but better can be expected here, and newcomer Bavardages has to be given consideration, as does Bremner Pass.
  1. Royal Context
  2. Sheung Wan
  3. Brenner Pass
