Verdict

The Denis Hogan-trained CONVERSANT won for the second time in his career when landing a Listowel handicap over 6½f on soft ground earlier this month off a 5lb lower mark and can go on to win again here. The Zebedee gelding can hold off the attentions of C&D winner Lady Scathach, Eyeoweyou in first-time blinkers and Rule The Sea for trainer Tracey Collins who got off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking when landing a Tipperary 1m apprentice handicap off a 7lb lower mark last month.
  1. Conversant
  2. Lady Scathach
  3. Rule The Sea
