Verdict

EQUIDAE has been knocking on the door for some time now and showed signs that some more progression is in him with his narrow defeat last time out. He looks dangerously poised on his mark and may be a step ahead of the handicapper. Ventura Royal has run well over further recently and the drop in trip could aid his hefty hike in the weights, while it will be interesting how Mischief Managed runs on his comeback and could vie for the places with Bardo Contiguo if the gelding operation has worked its magic.
  1. Equidae
  2. Ventura Royal
  3. Bardo Contiguo
