Verdict

MONSIEUR NOIR has started to suggest he is getting the hang of things recently with his Salisbury success and fared well back in handicap company last time. On paper it looks like he has been given a chance by the handicapper and may still have more progression in him than his rivals. Glengarry looks to be in need of a stiff 7f, which he gets here, and is weighted to run another solid race, while the likes of Maggies Angel and Queen's Sergeant have come into form recently but must improve again off their current marks.
  1. Monsieur Noir
  2. Glengarry
  3. Queen's Sargent
