Verdict

Potentially the trickiest race on today's Doncaster card, so it's simply a case of pay your money and take the chance. Jockey bookings are often helpful with the 'headliners' including Josephine Gordon (Savalas), Hollie Doyle (DRUMMOND WARRIOR), Megan Nicholls (Hart Stopper) and Becky Smith (Mujassam). On account of pleasing course form figures Lucky Louie merits a positive mention, while the admirable Tommy G must also be there or thereabouts for the much respected Jim Goldie. However, for small stakes it is the Pam Sly-trained three-year-old who gets the nod despite a clear lack of handicapping experience.
  1. Drummond Warrior
  2. Tommy G
  3. Lucky Louie
