A weak event to start the card with leading Peth trainer looking to have found an excellent opportunity to improve his own winning tally and that of his mare CARRIE DES CHAMPS who will appreciate a return to this longer trip. She was outpaced over 2m last time and having already taken a bumper around here we know she acts well on the course. Her two rivals both arrive with questions to answer, Beast Of Belstane didn’t impress with his hurdling prowess (or lack of it) last time and Fyfin Patsy makes her Rules debut having taken six starts to get off the mark in point-to-points.
