Verdict

TAVUS is a steadily progressive three-year-old who should have little trouble in following up a recent 1m4f Newbury win for Messers Charlton and Watson. By a Derby winner (Pour Moi) there's a strong likelihood that he'll continue to progress beyond 1m4f and rates as very difficult to oppose despite a 5lb rise in the weights. Victoriano can potentially emerge second best for Archie Watson with Nabhan the probable pick of the Bernard Llewellyn-trained trio.
