Verdict

Recent winning form is incredibly hard to come by in this field, though Orliko did gain a first career success back in June. He was behind Powerage last time out though, who holds a stronger chance after taking a sizeable step forward to improve on her previous efforts when third at Lingfield. The Richard Hughes-trained Charlie Arthur also holds claims on this turf debut after running well in behind a couple of well-treated sorts at Wolverhampton. The vote goes to FORTHWITH though, who gets in here off a nice weight and showed evident improvement for the switch to handicaps when fourth at Bath. That offered plenty of encouragement for the future & he is unexposed.
  1. Forthwith
  2. Powerage
  3. Charlie Arthur
