Forecasts

Linger (8/15), Generalisation (6/1), Hard Bought (8/1), Fairymount Boy (10/1), Indian Music (14/1), Dark Outsider (14/1), Ballybrowney Walk (14/1), Ballyfinboy (16/1), Athloman Cottage (20/1), Captain Cobajay (33/1)

Verdict

The six-year-old, LINGER had been running well on the Flat and over hurdles this term before winning at the Galway festival earlier this month over 1m6f, beating the Willie Mullins-trained Eight And Bob in the process. The gelding can win over fences at the fourth time of asking here at the expense of the Gigginstown House Stud representative, Generalisation. In what looks like a pretty ordinary bunch, Athloman Cottage could possibly grab a place.

  3. Athloman Cottage
