Verdict

ARABIST went into plenty of notebooks when a staying-on fifth to smart stable companion Logician here on debut in May and the extra two furlongs coupled with time to mature could be a winning recipe. Twelve lengths ahead of the selection that day was High Commissioner, but he hasn't really gone on from there and will do well to confirm placings. Adonijah is a very serious threat though having shown heaps of promise when only narrowly denied on debut at HQ over this trip three weeks ago.
  1. Arabist
  2. Adonijah
  3. High Commissioner
